Reader's Report

Have you finished the first draft of your story? Are you finding it hard to move forward with it? Or have you finished a book and can't decide whether it's ready to publish? A reader's report will help you through the maze.

Your reader's report will be packed with recommendations that will help you structure your story and make it stronger. Our reader's reports are ideal for people working on a novel, a memoir or a collection of short stories. Just send in your manuscript, we will read it, and a couple of weeks later, you'll receive your report.

Your reader's report will give you recommendations that will help you strengthen your plot, characters, settings and viewpoint. You'll also get tips on how to describe the world of your story more vividly. While it's not an edit, your reader's report will also flag up language and technical issues that you can clear up. Finally, you'll get a verdict on the overall quality of your story and what can do to make it ready for the world to see it.

In your one-hour session, we will explore what drives you to write and how to draw inspiration for stories from your own life, your interests and your passions.

After your session, you will receive a report full of recommendations that will help you forge ahead with your story. It'll suggest a structure for your story and some activities you can do to develop your ideas.

The recommendations in this report will help you turn your idea into a story that people will want to read.

from fledgling writers to people who are ready to publish.

Online Writing Workshops

We offer workshops for adults and children, and we specialise in offering one-to-one workshops. These are a great option for children who have a strong interest in writing and may already be writing their own books. They're also great for adults who want the space to learn at their own space. We deliver the workshops over Zoom or in-person, with a timetable that suits you.
