Our critiquing service, also known as a readers’ report, is aimed at authors who have finished the first draft of their novel, memoir, or short story collection and want advice on how to take it forward. It is also of benefit to authors who feel they have done all they can with their story and want to know if it is ready for publication. Our critiques will give you the big picture on your story, what works and what needs to be fixed. We will evaluate every aspect of your story and create a readers’ report, with recommendations to help you develop your story. The report will then show you how to implement these recommendations, chapter by chapter. You’ll also receive a verdict on how ready your story is for publication and what you need to do to bring it to the next level.
The Writing Space
This is a coaching service for people who have an idea for a writing project, but don’t know how to take it forward. We offer one-to-one consultation sessions with the goal of developing a structure that will guide you towards creating a complete piece of writing. We will explore what drives you to write and how to draw inspiration for stories from your own life, your interests and your passions. Following your session, you will receive a report that summarises the feedback given to you during your session. The report will give you recommendations that will help you turn your idea into a story that people will want to read.
Content Strategy for Businesses
When you’re running a business, you’re wearing many hats, and you can get so caught up in the day to day that it can be hard to find the time or the headspace to think about what your business represents. Our content strategy service offers you the chance to work on your business, not just in it. We will arrange a consultation session to find out more about you and your business, and after that, we will put together a content strategy that will form the basis for all your future content. The strategy document will crystallise the core mission and message of your business, and how you can deliver on that mission with your products and services. We’ll also advise you on what content channels would be best suited to your business and how to adapt your content to those channels.
