CASE STUDIES

Here are some samples of work I have done for satisfied WriteWords clients. They will give you an insight into how I operate and the benefits of using my service.

David Hegarty, CEO, Shiro Media, www.shirocom.de

Shiro Media is a multi-media communications company which provides eLearning solutions to businesses. Content development forms an essential part of its training packages. As many of the trainees who view Shiro’s presentations are not native English speakers, they often need content that has been written for easy understanding. Derbhile edited slides and provided scripts for presentations which streamlined the original content and ensured that the presentation’s message could be easily absorbed by such audiences.

‘Derbhile has shown that she can grapple with difficult concepts, then apply her flair for language to communicate them in ways that meet the needs of learners. She has consistently delivered ahead of the deadline, to provide value not just for the business, but also our processes.’

Claire Phelan - Plugin Consultancy

Claire Phelan runs Plugin Consultancy, a company which helps high-tech start ups launch themselves on the market. She was looking to create marketing materials which more accurately reflected the vision and unique offering of her business. Derbhile consulted closely with Claire to help define her business more clearly and created a report offering guidelines for future marketing communications.

“I liked the hook that Derbhile created for my business – that I help customers find their lightbulb moment. During our consultation, she was able to get to the heart of the matter very quickly and had a very focused process which I liked. The report she created for me offered me clear, practical guidelines for marketing my business. Above all, Derbhile listened and tuned herself in to what I wanted.”

Claudio Cavaliere, Espresso

Claudio Cavaliere manages a family-friendly Italian restaurant. He wanted to boost his customer turnover and was full of ideas for publicising his business, but didn’t know how to reach his intended audience. Derbhile helped him to channel his ideas and coordinated a publicity campaign which centred on the heart-shaped pizza that Espresso had created especially for Valentine’s Day. She created a press release and placed it in local newspapers and on Facebook, which helped Espresso gain greater visibility both locally and on the Internet.

‘Derbhile helped us coordinate a publicity campaign for St. Valentine’s Day. She helped us find newsworthy angles for our business. We advertise in the local media, but Derbhile helped us make the news. This led to more customers coming to our restaurant. Derbhile also showed us the value of our Facebook page as a marketing tool. We’ll be using her for other publicity ventures in future.”
